A Dip in the Water

Overview

Shultz visits the wealthy widow at her cottage by the sea. He is accompanied by his two interesting kids, Little Beanie and Lillian. Shultz has a rival, one Binks. The widow, however, shows Binks plainly that she prefers Shultz. Now Tom, a dapper youth, is in love with Shultz's daughter, Lillian. Beanie catches the pair together, and knowing that dad objects, tattles on them. Dad, furious, leaves the widow's side and tells Tom a thing or two, to the delight of Beanie. Tom resents dad's actions and vents his feelings on Beanie, who swears vengeance. Lillian manages to elude dad and again joins her sweetheart.
