# Translation The story of a Japanese girl, Kazumi, who migrated to Kuala Lumpur at the age of ten with her father, Iesyiko Yimura, a businessman. Kazumi grew up and studied in Malaysia until she became fluent in Malay and developed a love for Malay culture, especially Mak Yong. After completing her studies, Kazumi obtained a job as a journalist and was posted to Kota Bharu. There she lives in the house of Ikhwan's parents, her friend from university days who now works as a lecturer. On weekends, Ikhwan returns to his parents' house and enjoys playing the rebab.
