Overview
Esther, a compassionate woman in her thirties, has spent years caring for her elderly cousin on a bleak country estate. Esther's quiet life is disrupted by the sudden arrival of Jasper, a charismatic traveler with a murky past. Jasper claims to be the long-lost son and heir who was presumed dead thirty years earlier. As Esther navigates her growing bond with him, she becomes entangled in a web of secrets, inheritance schemes, and a deep reflection on truth, love, and the complex choices of middle age.
