Ronzo

Overview

In Oxford, Mississippi, an eccentric visionary named Ron Shapiro—better known as Ronzo—transformed a small independent movie theater into an unlikely cultural phenomenon. The Hoka became a gathering place for musicians, writers, artists, students, and outsiders, helping shape the creative identity of a Southern college town. Through music, humor, and colorful characters, Ronzo celebrates one man's extraordinary ability to bring people together and make everyone feel they belonged.
