Vidas Siliunas provides a captivating account of this production, interspersed with fantasies on the theme of Meyerhold's "The Inspector General", created by Valery Fokin and actors from the Oleg Tabakov Theatre, as well as short video clips miraculously preserved from the original 1926 production.
