Overview
After seeking political asylum at the US border with Tijuana, a gifted Russian pianist's journey takes a tragic turn when she is detained in a U.S. processing center for immigrants. A hand injury during detention shatters her musical career, leading her to confront not only her physical pain but also the political forces that have upended her life.
