He asks Oda to rehabilitate Jin Yamazaki (Kandai Ueda), his illegitimate son and a former host who once worked under the Murakami-gumi—a group Oda had previously dismantled. Though Oda reluctantly agrees, Kanayama strongly opposes the decision, while Suzuki (Ichizō Matsuda) tries to keep the peace. Meanwhile, Kuro-matsu Ichirō (Hitoshi Ozawa), chairman of the Ashikaga-kai–affiliated Kuromatsu-kai, is released from prison. Replacing his fugitive younger brother, he emerges as a powerful new enemy standing in Oda’s way.
