The leader of the Shineyuki clan, Monroe Shimahara (played by Kobayashi Kobayashi), combines talent and beauty, and is known as the hope of the Japanese floral industry. To him, Miss Shimahara is like a snow lotus on a high mountain, pure, beautiful, and untouchable.
