Plot summary: Summer of 1943, the current of the front. In one of the fierce battles, a T-34 tank is hit. The tank commander Sasha Menshov is seriously wounded. However, the continuing daring sorties of the fascist tank, which set fire to Menshov's car, lead him to the decision to destroy the German ace. In a duel with Menshov's combat crew the enemy machine is destroyed. This victory was like a prologue to the famous defeat of Hitler's hordes in the tank battle of Prokhorovka.
