Biography

André Machado Valadão is a Brazilian evangelical pastor, contemporary Christian music singer, songwriter, and television presenter. He holds a background in theology from North American institutions, including Christ For The Nations, Rhema Bible Training Center, and Domata Missions. Valadão gained initial public recognition as a member of the gospel musical group Diante do Trono before launching a solo career that resulted in multiple albums, commercial sales, and nominations for the Latin Grammy Awards.In his pastoral trajectory, he assumed the role of president of the Lagoinha Global denomination, succeeding his father, Márcio Valadão, in the leadership of the Igreja Batista da Lagoinha. His administration expanded the church’s presence internationally, notably establishing a prominent base in Orlando, Florida.Valadão’s institutional management became a subject of corporate and legislative scrutiny due to financial operations conducted within the denomination’s network. Investigations by congressional committees (CPMI) and police authorities focused on potential institutional connections with specific fintech entities and the receipt of multi-million corporate donations allocated to regional branches by operators linked to Banco Master.
