Chen Yayu

Biography

Chen Yayu (born October 4, 1996) is a Chinese singer and actress from Hubei Province. She performed with the idol group BEJ48.

She became a first-generation BEJ48 member on July 16, 2016, and joined Team J that October. She released the single Rongyao Xunzhang in April 2017. In September 2019 she was suspended from performances and promotional activity for six months following repeated breaches of the SNH48 Group member conduct rules, and was moved to hiatus status on June 13, 2020.

Her acting credits include the romantic drama Wo Cai Bu Yao Tan Jiedilian (2023), Sunshine in Winter (2023), and the web series Yeloli Meng Qijing (2024).
