As for the séance room murder, the culprit used the remaining posters, rolled them up, and taped them allowing them to support his weight and giving him the support to leave through the window; a rope tied to the poster allowed him to pull it out with him outside the window and its ripped remains are found in Hirasaka's room. He closed the window with the use of Hirasaka's remote controlled appliance. Conan then points out Mifune as the culprit, evidenced by the wine under his necktie. Mifune confesses and explains he was dating Kira before she died.
