NICK and ELAINE are attending a pre-marital counseling session to share with other couples their first meeting. But NICK has to leave early for an urgent task, leaving ELAINE to face the audience alone. ELAINE reflects on their tired relationship and concludes that they have lost the loving feelings. She proposes to break up with NICK. MARCO tries to defend ELAINE’s decision and blames NICK for hurting her feelings. Though NICK tries hard to reconcile with ELAINE, she is unmoved.
