Kay Yuk evades Sum Chi's attack and has him imprisoned. Kuan Wah threatens to kill herself if Kay Yuk does not let go of Sum Chi. Kay Yuk yields to her threat, but has secretly fed him with poison. Kuan Wah gives birth to a baby boy, whom Kay Yuk named Yuk Lung. Seeing that Kuan Wah remains restless staying by his side, Kay Yuk drives her away. Yi Lan saves Sum Chi and takes him back to Yachi. When Yi Pui Sha discovers that Yi Lan is trying to cure Sum Chi of his sickness, she reports it to Ya Sin. In reaction, Yi Lan declares she is marrying Sum Chi.
