POND urges KUAN to cooperate with AU but KUAN strongly refuses. KUAN kidnaps AU and forces him to give up his business in Hong Kong promising to leave within a month. AU feels infuriated and asks LONG to teach KUAN a lesson. Having made great profits from other business, AU gives up the idea of purchasing KUAN's corporate . This makes KUAN run into heavy debts and is on the verge of going bankrupt.
