PEI suspects that CHIU is killed by FAI and TAK. He then tells everything to MAN and asks MAN to collect the evidence for him. Finally, they find the evidence and wait for the chance to disclose them. PEI then writes to the emperor and tells him FAI and TAK's plan. However, FAI succeeds in explaining the guilt and even declares that PEI has created the trouble. However, the emperor believes FAI and punishes PEI by taking away his power. FAI and TAK then receive the message from the emperor that they should return to the palace to succeed to the throne. FAI is very happy and takes the chance to admit more followers to strength his power.
