Episode 2 recap: FUNG interrogates LING as to who HIM’s real father is. She tells him that it is her present husband, JOHN, and that is why they decided to fight for custody of HIM. WING tries to track down some suspects who escaped. However, he is accused by a cleaning lady of indecent behaviour which amuses everyone. WING and sergeant CHAU (HUI SHIU HUNG), who is a good friend of FUNG, visit FUNG and find out the situation about HIM. LAI notices that FUNG and a pub owner NAN (LAU ALICE) are quite intimate. WING is investigating a ‘London gold’ case and suspects that LAI’s boyfriend, FAI, might be involved. He cautions her to be careful with him, but she believes that FAI is innocent and resents WING. FUNG wants to keep HIM, but because of his genetic conditioned disease, he has to give him up to his true parents.
