She is stopped by KIU. Thus she begs KIU to send SHEUNG her handkerchief. SHEUNG is deeply impressed by the poem on it. YAU persuades MUI to leave the examination centre but MUI refuses. POR is shocked to see MUI as one of the candidates. MUl's talent impressed the royal father-in-law but she is suspected by his henchman. YAU pretends that he has gone crazy to distract their attention. He is driven away and MUI passes the examination. From CHO, POR learns that SHEUNG has been locked up. He goes to visit SHEUNG but he is stopped by NGOR. They have an argument and NGOR gives POR one hour's time to see SHEUNG.
