As the puzzle room starts to fill with fire, Kaito's Orpheus state activates and he reaches the top, only to find there is no exit. It is then that Rook reveals he is a POG giver who created the puzzle and wanted Kaito to ascend to Phi Brain. As Kaito falls unconscious from the shock, Rook saves him from falling into the fire and leaves him for Nonoha to find.
