What happens in "Bella de Noche": Una joven aparece muerta con gran violencia y sin más pista que una flor en la boca. Con la aparición de otra mujer asesinada de una manera similar, se confirman los peores temores: se trata de un asesino en serie con el que se enfrentará Ana, recién llegada al equipo. Pese a la categórica prohibición de Ventura, la agente consigue contactar con el asesino para tenderle un cebo y apresarle. Por otro lado, un sacerdote muere en extrañas circunstancias. El equipo averigua que la víctima estaba sustituyendo a otro religioso sospechoso de abusos a menores. Tras este descubrimiento, los padres de los niños se convierten en sospechosos. La investigación acaba abruptamente para Cuevas cuando es relegado de la jefatura del equipo porque padece un principio de esclerosis.
