In this episode: The Prophet Ibrahim is a model of faith and total submission to Allah. Born into an idol-worshiping family, he rejected the worship of idols and turned to Allah alone, preaching the oneness of God. Ibrahim was tested many times, notably by Allah's command to sacrifice his son Isma'il, an act he accepted with absolute faith. Allah, in His mercy, replaced Isma'il with a ram, thus rewarding Ibrahim's total submission to His will. Ibrahim is also the father of two great religious figures, Isma'il and Isaac, and an important ancestor for the three major monotheistic religions: Islam, Christianity, and Judaism.
