What happens in "Episode 3": Being unable to find a job, they turn to pull rickshaws. NAM gets acquainted with the Chief's daughter YIP KA YUN while FUNG is attracted to a wealthy and beautiful girl LO MEl OR who shows no interest in him. Unable to tolerate the employer's harsh treatment, ON quits the job and starts to learn to make cakes in a restaurant. The Chief's son is heavily in debt and thinks of a plan to cheat his father's money so as to settle the debts. He pretends to be kidnapped and asks his father for ransom. This arouses KEUNG's suspicion. FUNG learns of this plot from ON. Driven by his greed, FUNG decides to snatch the ransom.
