He reunites with his high school classmates and discovers that his first love, Michi Tanaka, is engaged to his friend, Hiroki Hayashi. The redevelopment plan for Koga's company clashes with Hiroki's environmental protection efforts, causing a conflict between Koga's job and friendships. Despite her engagement, Michi finds herself drawn to Koga, who, in turn, attempts to break up with his girlfriend in Tokyo to be with Michi.
