Afraid to let past events get to them, they immediately check the bill and leave, only to bump into each other in a different restaurant. Not much later, CHRIS again chances on YEE in a shop where he rents an umbrella. The two end up walking in the rain under one umbrella. YEE finds CHRIS’ gesture very moving. The news that YEE’s taking a few days off leaves CHRIS in a disturbed state of mind. He drives home en route Crouching Dragon Villas where he catches glimpses of YEE standing on the balcony of SHEUNG’s flat. The sight shatters his heart.
