Episode 14 recap: 在深山枯松涧有一个红孩儿，他是牛魔王与铁扇公主的儿子，法术高强，顽皮好胜，正等着唐僧师徒路过，一心想用唐僧肉孝敬父母。红孩儿用苦肉计骗取了唐僧的信任，乘机将唐僧掳进火云洞。悟空、八戒前去寻师父，红孩儿率领一群小妖精，口喷烈火，烧得悟空、八戒落荒而逃。悟空请来四海龙王，从空中撒下雨水，火不但不灭，反而愈烧愈烈，悟空也被烧伤，跌落深涧。悟空昏迷不醒，奄奄一息。龙王与八戒救醒悟空，八戒自告奋勇去请观音，却被红孩儿变化的假观音捉进洞去。最终真观音用莲花宝座，降伏红孩儿，收他做了善财童子。
