Episode 1 recap: Tobias Findeisen, genannt Tobbi, geht zwar noch zur Schule (3. Grundschulklasse), hat aber schon eine geniale Erfindung gemacht: Das Fliewatüüt. Der Name dieses Allround-Fahrzeugs erklärt sich ganz einfach. Es kann fliegen wie ein Hubschrauber, auf dem Wasser fährt es wie ein Schiff, und Räder zum Fahren auf einer Straße hat es auch. Betrieben wird es mit Himbeersaft. Das Problem besteht darin, dass Tobbi zwar alle Konstruktionspläne für das Fliewatüüt fertig hat, aber nicht in der Lage ist, es zu bauen. Da klopft es eines Nachts an Tobbis Fenster. Es ist der Roboter Rob 344-66/III A, genannt Robbi. Der freundliche Blechkasten geht in die 3. Roboterklasse und hat das Fliewatüüt (FWT 1) nach Tobbis Plänen, die er heimlich abgelichtet hat, für seine Roboterprüfung gebaut. Diese Prüfung besteht aber noch aus mehr Aufgaben, und zu deren Lösung braucht er die Hilfe eines menschlichen Freunds. Tobbi ist natürlich begeistert und erklärt sich gern bereit, Robbi zu helfen. Gemeinsam brechen sie auf, um die Antwort auf die erste der drei Prüfungsfragen zu finden.
