What happens in "Die erste Prüfung": Robbis erste Aufgabe besteht darin, die Anzahl der Stufen in einem schwarzgelb geringelten Leuchtturm herauszufinden. Das klingt zwar leicht, aber der Leuchtturm muss erst einmal gefunden werden. Unterwegs wird das FWT 1 von einer Radarstation geortet und hat wenig später zwei Düsenjäger auf dem Hals, denn man hält es für ein UFO. Robbi kann die Jets abhängen und folgt auf Tobbis Vorschlag hin einem Fluß bis zum Meer. Dort gibt es zwar viele Leuchttürme, aber keiner hat schwarze und gelbe Ringe. Tobbi fragt die Besatzung eines Frachtschiffs um Rat, auf dessen Deck das FWT 1 landet. Der Kapitän ist zwar erst etwas erzürnt, stellt den beiden Reisenden dann aber eine Seekarte zur Verfügung, die ihnen den Weg zu dem gesuchten Turm weist.
